Outreach Volunteer Interest Form

Serve cross-culturally with the CCF at First Free and reach the Chinese community in St. Louis with the gospel.
*Time Commitment: Varies

Volunteers are equipped and ready to serve in crisis response ministry. Response teams will be fluid, based on the situation, actions required, and availability of team members to engage in the team.
Members of this team are trained to respond to crises in our church, our community, our nation, and abroad.

*Age requirement: Ages 18+

Serve immigrants in our community by helping to provide a safe space for them to connect with others and learn English. Hospitality team members help with check-ins, registration, and directing students to their classes.
*Time Commitment: 1-3 hours/weekly
*Age requirement: Ages 16+

Teachers and assistant teachers help non-English speakers to learn English. Curriculum and training is provided. ESL meets on Wednesday evenings during fall, winter and spring.
*Time Commitment: 3 hours per week
*Age requirement: Ages 18+

Spend a week in Ironton, MO to help bring the message of Christ to children through a free VBS-type day camp experience. Serve as an individual, with a friend, or with the whole family!
*Time Commitment: 1 or 2 weeks in June
*Age requirement: All ages welcome!

Volunteers are needed to help with planning, collection and delivery of gifts for families of incarcerated individuals.
*Time Commitment: 4 hours around holidays

Mustard Seed Group (MSG) is a ministry to Chinese students at Washington University. Volunteers are needed to participate in English Bible studies, build relationships, and encourage students.
*Time Commitment: 2 hours/week

Members of this team visit Oasis International once a month to help with cleaning, painting, gardening and whatever else else Oasis needs to serve their clients!
*Time Commitment: 1 Saturday per month for 3 hours
*Age requirement: Ages 13+

First Free Volunteers help with repairs, restorations and lawn maintenance. Volunteers meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month in the morning & projects are usually completed by 1PM. Work sessions generally last 4-5 hours.
*Time Commitment: 2nd Saturday every month for 4-5 hours

Volunteers are needed to help with coordination, set-up and clean-up of lunches for our missionaries and outreach teams.
